A Beautiful and Elegant Inn & Spa

I recently stayed at The Southampton Inn & Spa, and absolutely loved it. This is an elegant and charming 100 year old bed & breakfast inn, located one block from the beach in Southampton, Ontario. I stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, and found it to be charming, clean, large and very comfortable. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, and I particularly liked having easy access to the in-house spa services. Although I tried to stay away from business, I found the complimentary high speed internet very convenient. The complimentary continental breakfast was excellent, and I found out later that the owners have extensive experience in the restaurant business, which explained why breakfast was superior to most places I've stayed at in the past.

The room rates were very affordable, and shopping was only a few blocks away. I would recommend the Southampton Inn & Spa to anyone looking for a charming bed & breakfast inn when staying in the Southampton Ontario area.

Service

The service here was outstanding. The staff (and owners) were very friendly and accommodating.

Room

As mentioned above, the room was excellent - large, charming, clean and comfortable. I peaked into the other suite across the hall and it was even nicer. Very impressed.

Food

Most places offer a mediocre continental breakfast, but The Southampton Inn goes above and beyond with their offerings. Really enjoyed it.

Looks

This home is over 100 years old, and has retained it's charm very well.

Condition

Everything worked perfectly. No complaints at all.

Location

You can't beat the location - steps from the beach and all the attractions in town.

Value

Exceptional value for what I received.
